It seemed like a good idea at the time.

In other news that has less to do with my sanity:  Joss Whedon is doing a new TV show!  Hooray!  And it actually sounds pretty good.  (Even if it didn't, I have faith in Joss.)

Also, 1 month to Davis Cup!  No tickets yet, but that's okay. 

I have tickets!  Tickets to the Davis Cup final!  Hooray!

Sadly, I won't know what seats we're getting for a while, because the seating chart has not been "finalized".  Honestly, so long as we get to go and aren't sitting in the rafters, I'll be happy.

Now I just need to get my Russian flag ordered.

And my body armor. 

Last week I discovered that there will be a pre-sale on tickets to the Davis Cup finals for USTA members, which I am!  SO glad I renewed, instead of letting it lapse, like I usually do.  That means I'll be able to buy my tickets on the 9th instead of the 15th.  They just announced the ticket prices as well, and I was happy to find them well within ( Read more... )

I've developed a bordering-on-unhealthy obsession with http://www.daviscup.tv/.  I just spent the last hour watching highlights and interviews from old matches.

I love Davis Cup, by the way.  Really, I do.  It's a shame that it only gets covered here if the US team is playing, and then ONLY the US team gets covered.  I want to see France vs Russia ( Read more... )
